Hi Friends,
I hope you try it out! (I thought it tasted pretty good). By the way, I
prefer red wine over white, so, I placed a glass of Merlot in the
picture.

Dear Elise,
Long time no see and hear from you.
As you know, from the end of April to the beginning of May is so cold “Golden week” in Japan. I was out of Tokyo and enjoyed the life without PC and Internet. That was great and I enjoyed the primary life getting up early and going to bed early.

I am really glad to have a holiday “Kodomo no hi” following traditional festivities. Even your husband can’t fold “Kabuto” and wasted newspaper a lot, he has sweet memories on Children’s Day. That was wonderful. I hope that he teach both of Japanese traditional and language to Riku before long although I have a different opinion from yours about baby talk.

Anyway I introduced your site in my news letter on the 28th last week. I wrote an article about American children’s snacks referring an article from CNN Health Library two weeks ago. Ceroly with peanut butter was introduced as one of ideas for children’s snacks in the article in CNN.
I told about your simple lunch; apple and peanut butter, to my readers of my news letter. I didn’t ask you for parmission. But I hope you don’t mind.

Dear Maki-chans,
I'm so glad to hear from you. How was your husband in the Vancouver Marathon? Running in a marathon is quite impressive, he must feel terrific to have done that! And I hope you had a great time in Canada. Well, as for simple foods that taste pretty good, this zuchini and goat cheese dish is an easy one. I hope you have a nice day!

Dear Chizuru-san,
Thank you so much for returning to my page. It seems that you had a wonderful time during golden week. I enjoyed hearing about how you relaxed and took your time during the holiday! Thanks for your comments about raising Riku to know his Japanese heritage and culture. This is so important, and also a great pleasure for us.

As for baby talk, I understand your point on that. I think that some can go a little too far with it.

Thank you for putting my article in your newsletter. I appreciate that!

Let's keep in touch. Hope you have a good day!

Dear Kasa-san,
How are Saya and Ai? Did you enjoy GW week? I saw the picture of your
camping site, and the kids seemed to be having a great time! Well,
zucchini is one of my favorite summer vegetables. If you do some
barbequing, I really recommend it. Have a wonderful week, friend!
